Yesterday we went down to the park where they were celebrating the Mascoutah City Homecoming. There was a parade, food, games, and rides. Here are some pictures of the festivities:
First stop was for some munchies. Steven digs into a corndog.

They rode the spinning apples together, but Steven spun it too fast and Hannah got scared.

Hannah goes for a ride in a flying pink elephant. Hey, elephants aren't pink!
Steven rides the Tornado... cause he is insane. I wouldn't step a foot on that thing!!
Hannah is all smiles as she is buckled into the Dragon Wagon...the roller coaster in the kiddie area.
Her smile quickly disappeared into frown of terror.
As we wait for the parade to start Hannah proves that she has a little captain in her. She was only drinking water though!
