The little man is now 9! One more year and he'll be sporting dub digits!
Here is this year's (first) birthday cake. We just had a little family gathering on his birthday, and in a few weeks we are going to throw a party at the local baseball park for him with all his friends.
Steven attempts to blow out the candles. Grandma didn't read the package very carefully though and bought trick candles. We had to get a cup of water to dunk them in to get em all out. Everyone had a good laugh. Next year I'll get the candles.
Aunt Stacy checks out one of Stevens cards. Steven is helping her sound out the words. ;)
Sweet! A microscope from Peepaw. It hooks up to the TV too. We've looked at lots of stuff, my favorite was seeing the difference in all the leaves of Steven's herb garden.
Video games from Nanaa. I think he has already unlocked most of the secrets in Mario Cart.
Steven show's off the Star Trek action figures he got from his mom. His favorite is Nero, the bad guy.
The next day after his party Steven and I went to see the new Trek movie. We both really enjoyed it. Steven also got a phaser, tricorder, and communicator from the movie. He and Hannah like to go on away missions.
